At Storm6Apps, we build tools for serious work, and we believe that requires absolute security and trust. Our applications are designed to be private by default. Your recovery and personal data are your business, and we are committed to keeping it that way.

1. Data Storage & Security

Your data's security depends on the version of the app you are using. We utilize a split-architecture approach to maximize privacy across platforms.

iOS Versions (Local-First)

All information you enter into the iOS versions of our applications is stored exclusively on your device in a secure, local SQLite database. It is never uploaded to the cloud or any external server. You are in sole control of this data.

Android Versions (Secure Cloud)

To provide a seamless experience on the Android ecosystem, these versions may store data in Google's secure Firestore database. We implement strict measures to ensure this data is protected:

  • User-Specific Access Control: Data is stored in a private container linked directly to your anonymous user ID. Firebase Security Rules strictly enforce that only you can access your data. No other user, including our developers, can read your entries.
  • Encryption: All data is encrypted in-transit (HTTPS) and at-rest by Google.
  • Anonymity: We do not collect your name, email, or PII (Personally Identifiable Information) within the app database.

2. Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or sell your usage data. We do not have access to crash reports that contain sensitive user input. We operate on a zero-knowledge basis regarding the content of your journals and inventories.

3. Artificial Intelligence (AI) Features

Our AI features are designed to provide insight while maintaining privacy. All AI processing related to your personal entries happens locally on your device using optimized small language models. Your journal entries are never sent to an external server (like OpenAI or Anthropic) for analysis.

4. No Third-Party Services

We do not integrate third-party analytics (like Google Analytics), advertising platforms, or data brokers. App purchases are handled exclusively through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store; we do not receive your billing details.
