Technical Case Study
The Challenge
Traditional to-do lists are often overwhelming for neurodivergent users. The goal was to build a task manager that provides instant clarity, reduces visual noise, and uses a "status-first" workflow to prevent task paralysis.
My Solution
I designed and built Diddit! as a cross-platform app using **React Native** and a secure **Firebase** backend. This combination allows for rapid development and a single, secure data source that syncs across all of a user's devices.
- **Core Tech:** Built with **React Native (Expo)**, this app delivers a native experience on both iOS and Android from one codebase.
- **UI/UX:** The interface is card-based, clean, and simple, intentionally designed to reduce visual noise. The supportive, non-judgmental tone is a core feature.
- **Backend:** A **Firebase/Firestore** backend securely stores tasks and projects, allowing users to sync their data and ensuring a "single source of truth" for their to-do list.
- **Workflow:** The key innovation is the "Status-First Workflow," which categorizes tasks by `Action Needed`, `Waiting`, or `Delegated` for immediate, actionable clarity.
